Why blog about spiritual matters?
So why should we talk about spriritual matters? I guess one could say that this topic is relevant to everyone - because the question of how we should live our life according to the Bible affects you and me, and everyone around us.
I figured it was about time I started by own personal blog... I was debating it for a while, because who really cares about blogs? Really, the only people who usually read them are yourself (fun fun), or people close to you, who want to keep up with your life. But I have a homepage for that. My hope for this blog is that it becomes a place that will spur discussion and questions about spiritual topics, specifically having to do with Christianity.
I'm just an ordinary Christian: sinful like every person in the world, but saved by God's grace by believing in his son, Jesus. May you find my thoughts in this blog interesting and thought-provoking, and hopefully make you ask questions of yourself and your relationship with God.
Enjoy...

Comments:
Jim, I think this is a great idea. My hot topic recently has been the validity of the Bible and Evolution. I've had several conversations with coworkers who think that since the Bible was written by men, that it has to have errors. A story passed down through generations has to have changed, and usually becomes more elaborate. They believe that religion is a good thing, but not for them. What are your thoughts on the matter?
